India Records 13,166 New COVID-19 Cases

New Delhi: India recorded 13,166 new Coronavirus infections, taking total tally covid-19 cases to 4,28.94,345, while active cases fell to 1.34,235, according to the UNI Ministry of Health data on Friday.

The death toll rose to 5.13.226 with 302 fresh fatality, data was updated at 8 am. 

The Daily Covid-19 case remains less than one lakh for 19 consecutive days.

 

The active case consists of 0.31 percent of the total infection, while the National Covid-19 recovery rate has increased to 98.49 percent, the ministry said.

Reduction 14,124 cases have been recorded in the Covid-19 Kaseload active in the 24-hour range.

Daily peposititivity levels are recorded as 1.28 percent while the weekly leading level is 1.48 percent, according to the ministry.

The number of people who have been restored from the disease soared to 4,22.46,884 while the case mortality rate was 1.20 percent.

 

The cumulative dose given in this country so far under the drive of Nationwide Covid-19 vaccination has exceeded 176.86 crores. India Covid-19 Tally has crossed a sign of 20 lakh on August 7, 2020, 30 lakh on August 23, 40 lakh on 5 and 50 September on September 16. Passing 60 lakh on September 28, 70 lakh on October 11 on October 11, passed 80 lakh on October 29 90 lakh on November 20 and exceeded the one-crore sign on December 19.

India crossed a two-crore gloomy milestone on May 4 and three crores on June 23 last year.

302 new fatalities cover 212 of Kerala and 19 each of Maharashtra and Karnataka.

As many as 5,13,226 deaths have been reported so far in the country including 1,43,675 from Maharashtra, 64,803 from Kerala, 39,885 from Karnataka, 37,997 of Tamil Nadu, 26,115 from Delhi, 23,446 from Uttar Pradesh and 21,165 from West Bengal.

The ministry emphasized that more than 70 percent of deaths occurred due to comorbidity.

“Our numbers are reconciled by the Indian Medical Research Council,” said the ministry on its website, adding that the distribution of wise numbers is subject to further verification and reconciliation.
