Several Feared Trapped After Landslide Buries Mining Vehicles In Haryana

Chandigarh: About 15 to 20 people were reported missing after landslides in the mining zone in Haryana Bhiwani. Minister of Manohar’s Minister Lal Khattar tweeted to say that he was in a constant touch with the local government to ensure a quick rescue operation and assistance to the injured.

Landslides occurred because of cracking most of the mountains in Tosham’s top mining area in Block Tosham, they said.

Mining activities have been taking place on a large scale in the mining area of ​​Titam and Khakan Paharan after the National Green Tribunal raised their prohibitions in mining work in the area. The ban on two months, which was put down by the Green Court due to pollution, was appointed on Thursday and mining work returned only on Friday.
