Akali candidate from Sangrur lost Punjab election to AAP, but remains a 'Winner', Here is why?

Many social media users show irony on behalf of the sad candidate ‘Winnerjit’. Winnerjit Singh Goldy lost election to the AAM AADMI Party (AAP) candidate Narinder Kaur Bharaj with a large margin.

 

He stood fourth and became a topic of discussion on Twitter.

 

Twitter writing users, “Punjabis likes English names! Who keeps the name Winnerjit ??”

 

One user calls it “dichotomy of human existence,” While other users write “winners and jeets, still missing.”

 

Winnerjit got 10,488 votes from Sangrur and stood in third place. Narinder Kaur Bharaj, who won from the chair, got 74,851 votes and secured 51.67 percent of the vote.

Aam Aadmi’s party made a landslide victory in the Punjab poll, winning 92 out of 117 seats, Congress won 18 seats. Winnerjit’s party only won three seats in Punjab.
