With the iPhone 14 out of the road, we now have an iPhone 15 series to look forward to. And some popular Apple analysts – Ming Chi Kuo and Mark Gurman – have some interesting insights to share. Kuo thinks that Apple will rethink the iPhone 15 and pro -regular lineup to increase sales in an increasingly competitive market.
Reportedly, Apple will create a greater feature difference between the iPhone Pro series and the standard to give customers more reasons for choosing a higher level smartphone. This will increase the allocation of pro shipping and eventually increase the sales price of the overall iPhone 15 family.
In addition, Kuo predicts Apple will create more differentiation in the Pro series itself but does not enter specific. Gurman claims that the Pro Max naming scheme will be dropped for the sake of “Ultra”, which makes sense considering that the upper-class watch is Ultra and Apple already uses the pro, Max and Ultra levels for its Mac M-Series processor.
